Sheetfed Press Operator

Located in Mississauga, Apex Graphics is currently looking for a highlyskilledSheetfed Press Operator with extensive 8 colour Heidelberg XL105/106 perfecting experience.

This role is permanent full-time AFTERNOON shift, which works Tuesday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 3:00 am.

*** Training plan runs for the first 4-6 months on the day shift, which works four 10-hour shifts weekly, 5:00 AM3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Duties include:

• Press make readies
• Operate the press to consistently meet production targets
• Direct feeder operator in correct performance of duties
• Perform quality checks on printed sheet for imperfections and maintain high product quality
• Perform required press maintenance
• Effectively troubleshoot problems and meet production standards and deadlines.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions
• Successful applicants will also be required to learn/run the Didde /Web press
