What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: A well-rounded individual with leadership experience gained from both large production facilities and smaller, family-managed companies. You should be comfortable managing various SKUs and smaller production runs.

  • Personality: An outgoing, positive, and disciplined leader who is passionate about motivating and driving teams to meet productivity goals.

  • Skills: You should have experience with raw materials used in multiple products and the associated labor constraints. A strong background in KPI-driven environments is essential.

  • Leadership: Whether you've led a shop floor directly or have been part of a team focused on process improvement, you're someone who loves to learn from your team while leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Oversight: Supervise machine operators and ensure adherence to production schedules to achieve daily productivity goals.

  • Team Motivation: Inspire and drive your team to exceed organizational expectations, ensuring high morale and continuous improvement.

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively look for ways to enhance costs, quality, and service, utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Scheduling & Planning: Support production leaders in planning and organizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Product Development: Coordinate product development processes and engineering changes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to manage labor and Bill of Materials (BoM) requirements, while negotiating budgets and timelines with Sales and Production teams.

  • Quality Control: Set and uphold quality control standards and assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where needed.

  • Policy Enforcement: Administer company policies and discipline when necessary, ensuring compliance with government regulations, including WSIB and Health & Safety.

  • Recruitment & Training: Manage recruitment and training efforts to meet business plan objectives and ensure the growth of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal leadership skills and post-secondary education in a relevant field.

If you're a hands-on, growth-minded individual ready to make a significant impact in a thriving manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
