- Responsible for safe operation of Grinding equipment and for the accurate Milling of ingredients to deliver a product that meets the customers' expectations.
- Must ensure quality and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Ensure the ingredient LOT number is visible on the batch recipe.
- Follow allergen control procedures.
- Fills Hopper with raw materials according to specifications.
- Visually inspects materials to ensure no foreign materials or abnormalities exist.
- Start the machine according to the instructions.
- Label product correctly.
- Validate the proper cleaning of the Milling machine and equipment.
- Follow GMPs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and qualification:
- High School or an equivalent combination of education preferred
- Knowledge and experience in the Food Industry is required.
- Ability to use a calculator to perform basic math equations for precision measurements.
- Ability to work with others and as a team.
- Ability to work from written and/or verbal instructions.
- 2+ years of experience as a Machine Operator required.
- Ability to follow GMPs and other Food Safety and Quality requirements.
