Position Summary
The Marketing & Proposal Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the business development, marketing and proposal team with a wide range of initiatives that build our brand and grow our business. As an enthusiastic team player, you will apply your imagination and creativity to develop tangible solutions that meet the evolving needs of our growing construction company. From supporting external marketing campaigns to crafting compelling and winning proposals, this entry level role offers great learning potential through exposure to a variety of marketing and business development processes, projects and programs.
As a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator your key accountabilities will involve:
- Supporting the planning, organization and implementation of the annual marketing plan including:
- Content creation and curation.
- Event management.
- Social media campaigns.
- Client and staff appreciation.
- Lead generation and performance analysis.
- Designing and producing visually compelling presentations and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Supporting the proposal process including creation and maintenance of project profiles, staff resumes and other forms of standard content.
- Writing, editing, and formatting proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with client submission guidelines and deadlines.
- Monitoring bid search portals for potential opportunities and conducting industry, marketing, and client research.
- Maintaining proposal tracking systems, content libraries, and marketing databases (e.g., CRM software).
- Assisting with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and client outreach.
- Supporting brand consistency and corporate identity across all external communications.
- Assisting with social media updates, website content, and newsletters as needed.
- Organizing and coordinating participation in business development and networking events such as trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Supporting the existing business development, marketing, and preconstruction teams with planning, organizing, and reporting on a variety of departmental initiatives and processes.
- Identifying and undertaking process improvement initiatives to drive successful outcomes and improve efficiency.

As a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator your experience and qualifications will include:
- A genuine interest and commitment to learn marketing and proposal writing within the construction industry.
- 1+ years of experience in a marketing or proposal role is an asset.
- A college diploma or university degree in marketing, communications, creative writing, business, or related field is an asset.
- Proficiency with social media and Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction industry terminology and project delivery methods is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proposal tracking tools (e.g., Deltek, Salesforce) is a bonus.
