I am currently recruiting a Machining Supervisor for a leading customized furniture company. As Production Supervisor you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and supervising the day-to-day activities of a production team. Responsibilities:

· Plan and establish daily work schedules, assignments, and production planning to meet the daily production mandates.

· Lead, motivate and coach production team members to ensure company quality standards are met.

· Report and share feedback to the Production Manager

· Hands on Supervisor that will be operating and supervising.

· Monitor the productivity of the team throughout the shift, adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, and other production requirements.

· Work in cooperation with the Quality department to maintain the standards of the company finished products.

· Expertly perform regular woodworking machining duties, including set-up, programming, and operating.

· Familiar with reading drawings, sketches, and blue prints. Must be knowledgeable with both metric math measurements.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of Secondary school diploma, ideally has a college diploma and/or a Supervisor Certificate

· Proficiency in use of hand tools

· Ideally Supervisory experience working in a manufacturing environment.

· A minimum of 3yrs of experience

· Knowledge of ERP systems, Lean, 5S, Microsoft office applications

· Previous wood or manufacturing furniture is an asset.
