ROLE

This is a unique opportunity to work on a setup where you will get exposure to both eComm and Wholesale.

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, packing, and overseeing loading and unloading. Handles customer orders, ensuring they are correctly documented, processed, and shipped. They track inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and manage billing and shipping details to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Together, the role plays a crucial part in maintaining efficient supply chain operations. This role is shipping-dominant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Proficient at all aspects of wholesale and eComm, including by not limited to, picking, processing, packing, repacking, labelling, and posting.

· Help maintain the integrity of the warehouse, perform cycle counts, bin balances, and replenishment to ensure stock availability for pickers.

· Ship domestic and international orders using couriers' dedicated terminals, I.E. Fedex, UPS, and Purolator, and complete all relevant documents/paperwork.

· Process, inspect, rework, and put away returned shipments in a timely manner.

· Prepare export shipping documents - CERS

· Update and maintain shipping databases (FedEx, Purolator, UPS) with the supervisor.

· Maintain a high level of health and safety standards.

· Preparing and processing orders for shipping.

· Assisting Warehouse team on EDI Processes. Maintain productivity metrics.

· Review picking volumes and set staff requirements.

· Communicate with the Fulfillment team to maintain proper bin stock levels as per Customer Orders.

· Route orders using shipping portals, for example, Navisphere 2.0

· Any other functions assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma or GED.

· 2+ years' experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment.

· Familiar with use of software and hardware typically used in a distribution environment (i.e., ERP).

· Eager to learn and take initiative.

· Team-oriented with an understanding of working towards collective goals.

· Excellent verbal communication.

· Is self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively with limited guidance.

· Physical fit and capable of consistent lifting and moving.

· Experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment, RF gun/scanner considered an asset.

· Reliable, punctual and has good time management.

· The ability to multitask in a high-paced work environment with tight deadlines.

· Familiar with the use of inventory management software, considered an asset.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel.
