You will collaborate closely with Product Design & Development, Marketing, Ecomm, Creative and Sourcing teams, in order to build a successful product assortment that supports Article's financial objectives and deliver the needs of our customers.

About the Team:
We are a hybrid team coming into the office 3 days a week. In-office days are Tuesday-Thursday.
What You'll Do:Catalog & Assortment Strategy
- Act as the category SME with a broad understanding of relative consumer trends, the competitive market, and the Article customer.
- With the guidance of the Category Manager, lead the creation and execution of the category line plan to achieve company priorities and category objectives (right product, right price, right time).
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners from Design, Sourcing and Planning, guiding from analysis through to recommendation.
- Maximize sales and profitability by defining the pricing architecture that will deliver against margin expectations and targets.
- Accountable alongside the Category Manager for delivering against revenue targets, continuously monitoring and reacting to business results to ensure financial plans are achieved.
- Conduct extensive in-season and post-season market analysis to ensure we are always delivering unrivaled quality and value to our customers.
- Product lifecycle management via sales, promotions, and exits.
- Communicate category vision and strategy to key stakeholders to guide the successful execution of marketing, campaign and sales plans.
- We use G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Google Docs, Meet, etc) to work and Slack to collaborate and communicate, with your choice of Mac or PC device.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in a merchandising, buying, category management, or related position.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities, within tight deadlines.
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Deadline-driven; ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with factories, customers, and colleagues.
- Excellent business and market sense with an ability to understand Article's aesthetic and recognize products that fit our brand. If you have a passion for furniture, interior design and dècor we love to see it!
- Legally able to work in Canada
