Position Summary

Our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) work with our Account Executives (AE) in developing our pool of sales leads. Activities include, generating outbound leads using both phone and email, supporting sales efforts and campaigns, maintenance of our CRM and other related tasks. In this position, you will also assist with product inquiries, industry research and following through with lead requests. Throughout the lead qualification process, you will learn to identify the specific needs of prospects, and how our products/solutions meet those needs.
What You'll Do

  • Generate outbound leads using input from AE's, marketing campaigns, targeted lists of prospects and existing CRM accounts
  • Manage outbound leads generated using the in-house CRM
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off of leads to the AE team
  • When appropriate, book online demonstrations with prospects
  • Participation and support in marketing programs and events
  • Participation in sales strategy sessions
  • Drive the pipeline needed to reach our revenue targets; you'll play an integral role in Kindsight's success

  • Ability to travel to represent Kindsight at conferences and events
  • Can thrive in a remote-first company (available for applicants within Canada (eastern or Atlantic working hours)
You Bring These Skills With You
  • You have 1-year + experience in sales role or in a role where you dealt with people often
  • You are creative & curious thinker
  • You can craft engaging and attention-grabbing messaging.
  • You have experience with outbound prospecting is a definite bonus;
    • Cold calling, copywriting, social selling and video prospecting experience are all assets that would lend well to our team
  • You are a natural prospector. You can creatively engage prospects across multiple Accounts and leverage tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, Gong.
  • You love connecting with people, through the phone, text, social media, email.
  • You have an ability to develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, relevant industry trends, and competitive intel.
  • You are prospect obsessed and always looking to understand the value for the prospect and you don't pitch the same to everyone.
  • You have a focus on quality pipeline sourcing and ultimately contributing to revenue growth.
Nice to Have
  • Previous SaaS experience in an outbound role
  • You have experience with AI tooling - AI prompts to assist with research & understanding target accounts & personas
