Job Summary: The accounts payable/payroll administrator is responsible to ensure the accurate and on time processing of accounts payable and payroll.

Knowledge and Skills (Education):
• 3 years in Accounts Payable/Finance experience
• Minimum College diploma in Accounting/Business
• MS Outlook, Word and Excel a must
• Experience with integrated Finance software packages
• Well organized Past experience in handling Payroll/Finance responsibilities
• ADP experience
• Contact with Canadian Payroll Association
• Strong Data entry skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized

Major Accountabilities:
• Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and procedures
• Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the company
• Ensure invoices are matched to packing slips
• Verify that invoice price matches purchase order, resolve disputed items
• Contact Supplier regarding missing invoices as per receiving report
• Enter all invoices in to CMS, matching items to receiver
• Process payments according to terms
• File and maintain all documents
• Review all timecards/sheets for accuracy, get Supervisor approval for questionable hours
• Enter all timecard/time sheets into payroll software on a daily basis
• Record all manual adjustments
• Provide reports (manual/system generated) analyzing hour and cost details
• Download time clocks and print daily attendance
• Distribute daily attendance to Supervisors and/or Managers
• Track daily attendance attainment from Supervisors and/or Managers
• Input payroll changes daily
• Follow-up with purchasing regarding all supplier accounts payable discrepancies
• Submit payroll information on a bi-weekly basis
• Review payroll register for accuracy
• Provide payroll entry to accounting
• Review all vacation accrual amounts
• Reconcile all tax and benefit payments
• File and maintain all records
• All other tasks assigned by Controller

Working Conditions:
• 99% office, minimum plant floor activities (PPE required)

Effort/Physical Demands
• Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
• Overtime as required
