Nucon Construction is a busy and well-known General Contractor and we are seeking to hire a Junior Assistant for the Project Coordinator to join our team. The role of a Junior Assistant is to work closely with the Director of Operations and assist with the daily management of ongoing and upcoming projects.
Responsibilities: (but not limited to)
- Works closely with project coordinator's, sub-contractors, site supervisors, and shop foreman
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Source any materials for upcoming and ongoing projects.
- May assist in the billing process as required with change orders or extras for ongoing projects.
- Maintain accurate records, relates to submittals, cost, RFI's, scheduling, site inspection, etc...
Standards and Specifications
- Understanding and knowledge of day-to-day operations of the construction industry.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of construction structures, materials, and processes
- Experience in Project Management.
- Thrives in a busy, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret Structural & Architectural drawings and specifications accurately is a bonus but not mandatory.
Salary based on experience.
