We are an innovative medical device company at the forefront of cardiometabolic screening and assessment. Our technology empowers early detection, personalized care, and proactive disease management. With a focus on improving patient outcomes and advancing preventative care, we serve a diverse range of healthcare channels.

Role:

Myant is pioneering the future of connected healthcare through textile computing, and we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Product to lead the development of our cardiometabolic solutions. As a core member of the Cardiometabolic Business Unit, you will shape the strategy and execution of innovative digital health products that improve early detection, monitoring, and management of cardiometabolic conditions across Canada. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and patient outcomes—leveraging Myant's SKIIN platform and working closely with clinicians, labs, and digital health partners.

As the Director of Product, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the development and execution of our product strategy across both physical and digital domains. You will lead a cross-functional product team responsible for wearable medical devices, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and AI-powered analytics—all within a regulated health technology environment. Reporting to the executive team, this role requires a visionary yet pragmatic leader who can translate market needs and clinical opportunities into impactful, user-centered products. You will drive the full product lifecycle—from conception and requirements definition through to launch and iterative improvement—ensuring alignment with Myant's mission to redefine health from episodic care to continuous, proactive well-being. If you're passionate about transforming healthcare through user-centered innovation and data-driven product leadership, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for both hardware and software products, including regulated wearable medical devices and digital health platforms.
  • Align product development with business objectives, regulatory pathways (e.g., Health Canada, FDA), and go-to-market strategies.
  • Guide cross-functional teams (engineering, UX/UI, regulatory, clinical, and marketing) to deliver compliant, scalable, and meaningful health solutions.
  • Translate customer needs, clinical requirements, and emerging research into clear product requirements and prioritized backlogs.
  • Serve as the voice of the product internally and externally, ensuring stakeholder alignment across leadership, clinicians, and commercial teams.
  • Oversee product operations and governance processes, including V&V (Verification and Validation), risk management, and design control.
  • Collaborate with QA/RA teams to maintain compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and other applicable standards.
  • Identify, assess, and manage product KPIs to ensure continued value delivery and iterative improvement post-launch.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and impact.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ in a leadership role overseeing both hardware and software products.
  • Proven track record delivering regulated medical devices (Class II or higher) and digital health products (e.g., mobile apps, cloud-based platforms).
  • Deep understanding of medical device product development processes, including design controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Health Canada, FDA 510(k), CE marking).
  • Experience working with wearable sensors, biometric data, or connected health technologies is a strong asset.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in engineering, biomedical science, health tech, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes through continuous, preventive care

Key Competencies:

  • Customer-Centric Mindset
