Our client is a growing financial institution specializing in retail banking, deposits, and life insurance lending on policy premiums. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join their team and play a key role in their continued success. Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable and the supervision of senior analysts.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly reporting to regulators (OFSI).
• Oversee financial accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with the Controller and CFO on financial planning and analysis.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
• Provide financial insights and support to management decision-making.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation is required.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Previous experience in the banking industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (OFSI).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software systems (CGI's RFS, FAS, Finserv is an asset).
