We are currently looking to fill the position of: Scraper Operator: In our fleet, we have 621s, 627s and 631s. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience operating motor scrapers (twin-engine or single-engine) in heavy civil construction, site preparation, and earthworks. You've got the skills to handle everything from tagging up, self-loading to cut-to-grade operations.
  • Self-Loading Master: You're experienced in self-loading material, whether it's dirt, gravel, or rock. You know how to maximize the efficiency of the scraper and minimize downtime.
  • Operation Skill: You've got a sharp eye for tagging up with others and working with other equipment on-site. You can move material efficiently while keeping an eye on your fellow operators to ensure smooth coordination. You're comfortable and experienced with both twin-engine and single-engine scrapers. No matter the model or type, you know how to maximize their potential and keep them running at peak performance.
  • Grade Control & Cut-to-Grade Experience: If you've done a pre-grade and can cut to grade seamlessly, we'll be especially excited to talk to you. Precision in grading is a major asset, and we need someone who can move material while maintaining the correct grade.
  • Safety First: Safety isn't just a job requirement—it's part of your work ethic. You're vigilant about performing pre-shift inspections, adhering to safety protocols, and keeping the site free from hazards.
  • Physical Stamina: Operating a motor scraper takes energy and focus. You're ready for long shifts, tough conditions, and a physically demanding job that keeps you on your toes.
Valid Certifications & Tickets:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • WHMIS and CSTS20 (or willing to get it).

Schedule:
  • 7am-6pm with 30 minute lunch.
  • 2 days on, 2 off (every second weekend off).
