Wash Bay Attendant

PWTransit is currently seeking Wash Bay Attendants to join our team in Langley - both full-time and part-time positions available.

The full-time position will work nights, Monday through Friday from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. The part-time position will work 3 days per week in the evenings and weekends and the exact shift time will be determined based on operational needs.

Wage: $24.77 per hour

Duties:

Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of all company vehicles.

• Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles as determined by the Company
• Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
• Clean interior / exterior of bus advertising and back lighting, report any interior lights that are not working; replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
• Perform a “pre-trip” on a bus for another driver
• Miscellaneous general facility cleaning duties, dumping trashcans and washing floors when assigned
• Cleaning engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts cleaning

Qualifications:

• Must have a Class 5 driver's license or higher
• Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to communicate effectively with the traveling public and to report on incidents involving safety and/or service
• No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position
