AEM Platform Manager
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite in Toronto)
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking an experienced AEM Platform Manager to lead the administration, optimization, and migration of their Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, including Digital Asset Management (DAM). This role will support enterprise digital operations, collaborate across business and technology teams, and drive best practices in content and asset governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AEM platform health and manage daily operations across DAM, Sites, and Cloud Manager

  • Lead AEM migration efforts, ideally to Cloud, and serve as the key contact for platform issues

  • Architect and implement metadata, folder structures, asset workflows, permissions, and taxonomy

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies, and content teams to streamline asset usage

  • Conduct audits, ensure compliance, and maintain asset governance standards

  • Optimize DevOps integration, automate release pipelines, and maintain platform performance

  • Provide user training, documentation, and day-to-day support for business teams

  • Ensure secure access control, asset integrity, and ongoing platform maintenance

  • Monitor performance, manage incidents, and liaise with Adobe Support as needed

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in AEM development and/or administration

  • Proven success managing AEM platform migrations, ideally to AEM Cloud

  • Expertise with AEM DAM, metadata governance, tagging, taxonomy, and asset lifecycle

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills

  • Familiarity with automation tools, DevOps pipelines, and project tools like Jira and Confluence

  • Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments is preferred

  • Technical skills in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTL, Sling Model, and JCR are assets

  • Strong understanding of access control, compliance, and secure content practices
