Position: Litigation Law Clerk
Location: Toronto, ON
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
A fast-paced downtown Toronto law firm is seeking a Litigation Law Clerk with strong file management skills and litigation experience. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, file, and serve court documents (pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.)

  • Prepare for trials and hearings-organize materials and liaise with witnesses

  • Manage litigation and mortgage enforcement files independently

  • Coordinate court dates, filings, and appointments

  • Handle discovery responses and undertakings

  • Draft correspondence and maintain files

  • Support billing and use legal software (Adobe, DocuSign, Ghost Practice)

Requirements:

  • Law Clerk, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal diploma/certificate

  • 3+ years of litigation experience

  • Strong knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal software

  • Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
