Position: Litigation Law Clerk

About the Role:
A fast-paced downtown Toronto law firm is seeking a Litigation Law Clerk with strong file management skills and litigation experience. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, file, and serve court documents (pleadings, motions, affidavits, etc.)
Prepare for trials and hearings-organize materials and liaise with witnesses
Manage litigation and mortgage enforcement files independently
Coordinate court dates, filings, and appointments
Handle discovery responses and undertakings
Draft correspondence and maintain files
Support billing and use legal software (Adobe, DocuSign, Ghost Practice)
Requirements:
Law Clerk, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal diploma/certificate
3+ years of litigation experience
Strong knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal software
Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
