Location: Toronto
Shift: Day
Pay: $30 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and per project requirements.

• Maintain a strong focus on safety by conducting inspections, holding toolbox talks, and ensuring PPE usage.

• Provide guidance and training to crew members, enhancing their skills in horticulture, hardscapes, softscapes, carpentry, masonry, and equipment operation.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project progress, communicate key updates, and ensure the smooth flow of operations.

• Manage materials, site staging, and ensure projects stay within budget and timeline.

• Contribute your skills as a hands-on craftsperson when needed, especially in the areas of hardscapes and softscapes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years in landscape construction.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Driver's License (required). Experience with excavators, skid steers, and articulated loaders is a plus.

• Strong understanding of how to read and interpret construction plans and job packages.

• Proven ability to lead and train teams to achieve high standards of performance.

• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, including those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
