The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manufacturing or Maintenance Supervisor and working as a key member of the Manufacturing and Maintenance team, the Electronics/Wire Harness Assembler will participate in the assembly of avionics and flight data management systems, including the manufacture and testing of complicated avionics wire harness assemblies.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment while demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role requires high standards of accuracy and efficiency in daily work.

The Electronics & Wire Harness Assembler is responsible for:

  • Assembly of electronic and mechanical components
  • Wire harness assembly and testing from technical wiring diagrams
  • Assist the engineering team
  • Follow engineering and quality procedures
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure processes are efficient
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed

  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and work instructions
  • Proficiency in hand soldering
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Follow written instruction without deviation
  • Ability to achieve objectives within appropriate timescales
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Experience in static awareness and material handling
  • Proficiency in assembling small & fragile components
  • Related assembly experience in manufacturing
  • Familiarity with a quality program

The salary for this role is $55,000 CAD. This position is for an existing vacancy within our Production team.
