Instead of isolated roles spread across departments, we've built a collaborative team that shares tools, processes, and systems — even when the solutions and applications vary. Whether it's software development, sales ops, membership support, or systems management, our centralized approach makes us stronger, faster, and more efficient — empowering the entire organization to focus on their highest and best work.

Based in the heart of Downtown Toronto, Assemble boasts a comfortable and friendly hybrid working environment with an experienced and energetic team. As our Operations & Systems Specialist, you'll be a key part of this team — triaging daily requests, managing simple systems support, assisting with onboarding and off-boarding, and making sure staff experience smooth, efficient operations every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily

  • Triage and manage incoming staff support tickets (the “411” queue).
  • Quickly resolve simple tech and operations issues — or assign to the right teammate.
  • Coordinate with IT for hardware, access, or escalated technical needs.
  • Provide helpful, proactive updates to requestors — no "black hole" tickets here!

Weekly

  • Support onboarding and offboarding staff:
    • Set up or decommission systems (Salesforce, Salesloft, Asana, Outlook, Slack, etc.).
    • Meet with new hires to share tips, shortcuts, and system best practices.
  • Update standard weekly reports for Sales and Membership teams.

Monthly

  • Perform online inventory checks (hardware, accessories).
  • Submit IT orders for replenishment (laptops, keyboards, etc.).

Ad Hoc

  • Special projects and operational initiatives as they arise.
  • Dive into new tools, processes, or challenges with a willingness to learn and figure things out.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Asana, Slack, and Microsoft products.
  • Prior experience in operations, help desk, or system support roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and willingness to learn new platforms.

Things to Discuss Further During the Interview

  • Our company offers above the normal starting vacation and observes US holidays + some Canadian holidays
  • We work on a hybrid model with some days in the office and some days at home

Excited about this role, but don't meet 100% of the expected qualifications listed above? We'd still love for you to apply!

The Company is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where unique experiences are valued and everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Research has continuously shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet all of the listed qualifications. We want to help overcome this trend and seek to make space for unique and relevant skills and attributes. So, when applying to the Company, rest assured that your application is reviewed by a living, breathing human being and evaluated based on key competencies needed for success in the position. Our Recruiting team maintains awareness of all open roles which means your application may be assessed against multiple positions and we will reach out to gauge your interest in other opportunities as appropriate. Questions or concerns? Contact our HR Team, we'd be happy to connect!

As part of our commitment to creating an accessible and inclusive hiring process, we strive to provide reasonable accommodations for persons with medical conditions or disabilities that will enable their access to the hiring process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know the nature of your request.
