What You'll Be Doing: Truck Mechanic
- Diagnoses, service, and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks, including mounted hydraulic and electric systems
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues with precision and speed
- Maintain detailed service documentation and complete reports of work performed
- Prioritize daily tasks in collaboration with the Garage Foreman
- Follow the maintenance schedule for fleet vehicles and equipment
- Learn and grow your skills in welding, fabricating, grinding, and more
- Operate safely, cleanly, and efficiently within a team-focused shop
- Test, pick up, and deliver vehicles as needed (valid license required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks or equipment
- 310T Certification (preferred) or actively enrolled in an apprenticeship
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with hydraulics, utility equipment, and electrical systems is a plus
- Welding or fabrication experience is an asset
- Must supply your own set of tools
- Valid driver's license (abstract will be requested)
