Report To: CEO

Location: Hybrid

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Overview:

Our client, a fast-growing telecom infrastructure company based in Edmonton, is seeking a Sales Director to spearhead the development of multiple revenue streams across the organization. In this role, youll be the key driver of growthdeveloping and executing strategies to increase revenue through multiple channels, including MDU sales, delivering solutions to enterprise accounts, and other strategic partnerships. Youll leverage your deep industry knowledge and relationships in the telecom space to identify and close high-value opportunities. From securing rights of entries with property owners and HOAs, to landing large commercial clients and forging long-term revenue partnerships, youll play a central role in shaping the companys market presence and long-term success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive company-wide revenue growth by owning and overseeing all revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a wholesale channel strategy to monetize capacity on market-based FTTH network.
  • Establish relationships with service providers that sell or resell solutions to enterprises and mobile service providers.
  • Provide support and leadership to local teams and ISP partners to bring value to commercial building access strategy, ensuring that strategies implemented are reasonably aligned with ISP and market interests.
  • Provide relevant, market-based feedback to ensure the existing network meets technical specifications required by current and future clients.
  • Ensure our internal teams are positioned to support wholesale customers through the implementation of the commercial access strategy and highest quality service to commercial

  • Ensure that all commercial addresses are listed in the most prominent fibre-connected building databases.
  • Work with local market commercial leadership to identify and close commercial/wholesale opportunities locally

Must Have Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience selling telecom, or utilities (e.g. electrical, gas) in a wholesale, carrier, or indirect sales model.
  • Experience in a Director-level sales position, or greater, is required.
  • Proven track record managing complex sales pipelines and working within structured sales processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience using CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce to manage accounts and BD activity.
  • Enterprise sales experience in sectors with long sales cycles and infrastructure tie-ins.
