Role Overview:

Our client, a downtown law firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join their collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial and construction litigation files from start to finish

• Handle matters related to builders' liens, bond claims, and prompt payment legislation

• Assist clients with procurement issues and related legal matters

• Draft pleadings, court materials, and legal correspondence

• Attend court appearances and conduct examinations for discovery

• Support senior counsel as needed on larger, complex litigation files

Key Competencies:

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial and/or construction litigation

• Knowledge of Alberta's Prompt Payment and Construction Lien Act

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

• Excellent organizational and file management abilities

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills
