Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in a DevOps environment
- Education: Software Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Ability to share, mentor, give and receive code review feedback openly, honestly, and fairly
- Agile mindset, excited about problem solving and results focused
- Strong written and verbal communication
Technical Skills
Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following tools and technologies is a must.
- Dynamic programming languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript)
- Static programming languages (Java, C#, C++)
- Scripting languages (Powershell)
- Linux, Windows (experience as Sys Admin a big plus)
- Microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Docker swarm)
- Kubernetes
Working level knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus.
- Dev and Config management tools (Git, TFS)
- Networking (certificates, DNS, AD)
- Build tools and systems (Jenkins)
- DevSecOps, security in general
- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or other cloud provider)
- Immutable infrastructure, Infrastructure as code
Candidates must be eligible for up to a top secret security clearance, the will require ten years of verifiable history within Canada.
How We Work
You will be expected to work in a remote/hybrid environment reporting to our Kanata, Ontario location 2 or more times per week.
