Reporting Relationship: The Recruitment Services Advisor reports directly to the Director, Human Resources.
Job Summary: The Recruitment Services Advisor is responsible for the day to day full-cycle recruitment activities across all business units at Birchwood. This role combines strategic sourcing with proactive relationship-building and brand representation to attract top talent and support long-term organizational growth.
Acting as an ambassador of Birchwood's brand, the Advisor cultivates strong relationships with external partners including universities, colleges, high schools, professional associations, and trade groups. The successful candidate plays an integral role in driving the attraction and retention processes so that Birchwood may continue its commitment to being an industry leader.
Qualifications:
• Completed post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
• 1 to 3 years' experience working in recruitment and selection preferred
• Proven success in public speaking, delivering presentations, and brand representation
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
• Ability to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times
• Proven success networking and building relationships with industry stakeholders
• Ability to leverage social media to achieve branding and awareness in the marketplace
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle constant change
• Focus on determining customer needs and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
