Dental Office Manager in Hamilton - ON

A well-established and fast-paced dental practice is seeking an experienced and dynamic Office Manager to join their growing team. With a team of nearly 20 professionals and six to seven operatories, this role requires a candidate with a minimum of 58 years of office management experience in a busy dental setting. Proficiency in AbelDent software, strong leadership abilities, and a patient-focused approach are essential for success.
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, excels at multitasking, and brings a solid understanding of dental operations, insurance protocols, and staff coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Administration:
Manage daily office tasks like scheduling, billing, insurance, and patient intake. Keep records updated in ABELDent, order supplies, and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Team Management:
Lead and schedule admin staff, support team coordination, and help with hiring, training, and staff performance.
- Patient Relations & Customer Service:
Welcome patients, resolve concerns, and maintain a smooth and positive front desk experience.
- Financial Management:
Track office finances, handle insurance claims, and support budgeting and reporting
Schedule:
- 40-44 hours per week
Salary:
- $75,000- $100,000/year (based on experience and skills).

- 5+ years of experience as a Dental Office Manager
- Proficient knowledge of AbelDent
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing large dental office teams of 10-15 people
