Merovitz Potechin LLP is seeking an IT Support Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll provide frontline technical support to lawyers, clerks and administrative staff, helping to resolve internal IT tickets and maintain seamless operations across the firm. Key Responsibilities:

Respond to internal support tickets and IT inquiries in a timely, professional manner

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for desktop and mobile users

Assist with user account setups, workstation configurations, and equipment deployment

Support legal software tools (e.g., Soluno, NetDocs, ACL, Lawyer Done Deal, etc)

Log and track issues through the helpdesk system; escalate as needed

Maintain IT inventory and update documentation as required

Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive data

Required Qualifications:

12 years of IT support/helpdesk experience in a law firm

Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networking, and troubleshooting

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Clear, friendly, and effective communication

Degree or certification in IT or related field (Microsoft, etc.) is an asset

Familiarity with legal software such as Soluno, Lawyer Done Deal, Unity, NetDocs, ACL, is preferred but not required.
