The Mechanical Foreman will report directly to the Manager and will support a team of Technicians within the Alberta Region. The specific responsibilities of the position will encompass each of the following KPI's

Key Responsibilities:

•Leading and executing mechanical work orders including: preventative maintenance, repairs, new construction, retro fits, and design build application

• Scheduling manpower for projects, tracking labor, ordering materials, ensuring project milestones are met.

•Establish and maintain professional customer relations.

•Recommend ways to reduce costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses.

•Provide technical assistance, training, development, motivation and leadership to the team.

•Ensure Environmental Health and Safety Policies are adhered to, safe work procedures and participate in weekly HS&S talks.

•Conduct Site Safety inspections.

•All other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Union member of 488

•Strong Leadership skills, problem solving, organization, and dependable

•Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.

• Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Procore, Adobe
