We are seeking a skilled Skidder/Mounder Operator to contract for the 2025 silviculture season in the Edson, Robb, Lodgepole, and Brazeau areas of Alberta. Preference given to self-employed operators, but employee status will be considered.

• Proven experience operating a skidder
• Ability to work independently and adapt to remote forest conditions
• Willingness to live in a travel trailer in the field
• Training will be provided for operating a mounder unit
• Expect 10 to 12-hour workdays
• Mechanical experience is an asset

Self-Employed Operators Must Provide:

• Diesel service truck with tidy tank and tools
• Travel trailer

Current Certifications Required:

• TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)
• WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Sheet)
• Standard/Intermediate First Aid
• Valid driver's license and current driver's abstract
