General Manager – Miramichi Kia

Shift Auto Group, one of Eastern Canada's fastest-growing automotive retailers, has an immediate opening for a General Manager at Miramichi Kia.

The Opportunity


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our Miramichi Kia dealership. You will be responsible for driving sales volume and profitability while ensuring an exceptional experience for both our customers and team members. This role requires strong leadership, coaching, and process execution skills, coupled with a commitment to integrity and accountability.


Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the dealership, encompassing all customer and team member interactions and the execution of the sales process.

  • Achieving dealership volume and profitability targets.

  • Management of the sales team and sales process, including identifying and developing future sales leaders, and coaching the current team to success.

  • Ensuring all team members adhere to our documented sales process with the highest levels of integrity and accountability.

  • Providing exceptional guest service, including world-class vehicle deliveries that reinforce our customer-obsessed brand.

  • Managing and utilizing various technology tools, such as CRM system, vAuto, PBS, Dealertrack .

  • Maintaining high standards for lot display, presentation, and merchandising.

  • Ensuring the seamless operation of the Finance Office, Service, and Parts Departments, and the consistent adherence to established protocols, to guarantee an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships, fostering excellent teamwork, and promoting an environment of "failing forward."

Qualifications:

  • A strong history of success in the Automotive Industry, specifically in sales or management, is a requirement for this position.

  • Proven experience in managing sales teams and achieving targets.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training skills.

  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, and a customer-obsessed approach.

  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and data to drive results.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and foster a positive team environment.

  • A drive to achieve and exceed challenging goal.

Established in 2015 and based in Fredericton, NB, Shift Auto Group comprises five new car dealerships: Volvo Cars New Brunswick, Fredericton Mitsubishi, Grand Falls Hyundai, and currently Miramichi Kia, with Dartmouth Mitsubishi under construction for an early 2025 launch. Additionally, the group operates 6 pre-owned vehicle dealerships (5 ReCar locations and St. Croix Auto) and 10 Wonder Auto & Tire locations across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia
