Position Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Lawn Care Technician to join our grounds maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in lawn care services including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and general turf maintenance. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of lawn care best practices, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.
• Build strong relationships with clients and staff, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
• Perform routine lawn maintenance services such as mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris from walkways and driveways.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to seasonal schedules and safety guidelines.
• Identify and address issues with turf health such as weeds, pests, disease, and bare patches.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and spreaders.
• Perform spring and fall clean-ups, aeration, dethatching, and overseeding.
• Follow established safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure job sites are neat, clean, and meet client expectations upon completion.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, turf types, and regional climate considerations.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain various types of lawn care equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if operating company vehicles).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
