We are looking for a skilled, reliable carpenter to join our construction team for a specialized role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both general carpentry and in assisting with elevator bay outfitting.

• Install steel bent plates in each elevator bay with precision and care.

• Install fire-rated plywood strips and fire-rated foam along the sides of each bay to properly cap off the backlift system.

• Collaborate with site supervisors and follow engineered shop drawings.

• Ensure all work meets building codes, fire safety regulations, and company standards.

• Proven experience as a carpenter in commercial or industrial construction.

• Comfortable working around structural steel and in tight elevator shaft spaces.

• Familiarity with fire-rated materials and installation best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.

• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.

• Experience working with elevator contractors or in vertical shaft construction.

• Certifications in firestop systems or related materials.
