Responsibilities:
- Gather, review, and consolidate daily cash positions across multiple banks and jurisdictions, and forecast daily cash requirements.
- Analyze credit card activity and process electronic payments.
- Maintain bank account and cheque signatory listings.
- Prepare bank and financial institution documentation for account opening and compliance.
- Act as an online bank account administrator and monitor user access.
- Track major global transactions, including cash pooling/concentration arrangements.
- Support the implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS), with a focus on data input/migration and bank connectivity.
- Perform investment analysis, review holdings and their performance against benchmarks, and highlight risk exposures.
- Digitalize the investment tracking and reporting process and support the opening of new investment accounts.
- Review and analyze bank interest income and service charges.
- Support the preparation of internal presentations for stakeholders.
- Evaluate foreign exchange exposures and track FX activity, advising on natural offsets.
- Act as a backup to the Treasury Manager and Treasury Analyst.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Post-Secondary Degree with emphasis on Business Administration / Finance / Accounting.
- 1 – 3 years' experience in a Corporate Treasury environment is preferred.
- CFA, CPA or CTP designation or actively working towards these designations.
- Experience working with a Treasury Management System (TMS) is preferred.
- Project Management and Financial Modelling experience is preferred.
- Experience working for a global entity is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
