Ensure proper order entry, follow-up with carriers via e-mail or phone to ensure customer requirements are being meet. Tracking and tracing Carrier Management / Brokerage / ensure ALL carrier profiles are set-up with current WSIB, and Insurance. Maintain proper margins Billing and carrier payments Ensure correct details are given to supervisors, carriers, drivers, customers, and customs. Ensure that all orders receive proper instructions and proper customs papers at the time of the shipment Negotiate carrier rates and service levels with customers based on equipment capabilities. Track shipments for on-time pick-up and delivery Communicate rate / quote requirements to sales in a timely manner, load information to customers and sales as appropriate Ensure all company designations are maintained (C-TPAT,FAST,CSA,PIP etc) Perform service verification on loads with carriers, drivers to achieve pick-up and delivery requirement all loads Advise your supervisor and/or sales when loads or carriers are not going to meet customer requirements Ensure rates being given are current and approved by supervisor Ensure that all loads with service verification completed are marked delivered Communicate effectively with both customers and drivers and inter-departmentally Work in compliance with the occupational health and safety act and regulations Not a student Opportunity Experience in dispatch/ trucking industry an asset Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
