The Role

Our client is a leading international provider of advanced instruments in industries such as refinery, petrochemical, biofuels, environmental, food & beverage, marine, offshore, subsea, and pharmaceutical. Currently seeking a temporary full-time Warehouse Associate.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and assume a variety of warehouse responsibilities. This position is a day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Please note that this is a temporary position with an assignment end date of 12/31/2025.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods from vendors.
  • Recording and updating inventory records in the ERP system.
  • Performs Packaging for the outbound shipment of goods to end users. Ensures goods are packaged accurately and correctly.
  • Generates packing lists and shipping documentation.
  • Communicating effectively with carriers and internal stakeholders.
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet stackers safely and efficiently.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Performs picking and kitting of parts to support the Production and Service departments.
  • Performs periodic cycle counts as per company policy.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and organize work areas for efficiency and safety.
  • Provides status updates to management as required.
  • Handles other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack/forklift. Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP systems is nice to have.
  • Computer literacy. Good Knowledge of MS Office Applications: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience with international shipping and export is a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Compensation

  • $25 to $28 an hour
