Lawson Lundell LLP is looking for a full-time Receptionist/General Office Clerk for a 6-month contract position at our Vancouver office. The Receptionist will be responsible for the day-to-day functions at Reception as well as providing overflow support to our Food Services and Office Services departments. The regular working hours for this role are Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm.
Standard Responsibilities
Greeting clients, direct incoming calls and answer routine questions in a courteous and expeditious manner
Manage Boardroom bookings using FMS Meeting Room Scheduler
Liaise with the building re: security access cards and report any issues on their service portal
Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and presentable at all times
Provide assistance in maintaining security by verifying the identity of visitors to the office
Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
2 3 years of experience in a professional service environment
Possess exceptional professional communication skills in person, writing and over the phone
Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Displays extraordinary customer service in a professional, mature and courteous manner
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Has a team orientated approach but can also work independently
Understanding the importance of discretion in confidentiality of staff, lawyers and clients
Professional presentation and demeanour
Salary Range:
The typical salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually with a control point of $52,500.

The control point of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position.
