ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Sales Manager, you will play a key role in Aero Tradings succession planning and growth strategy. Working closely with the companys leadership, you will take on responsibilities that allow the executive team to focus on broader strategic initiatives. You will lead the sales department, manage key customer relationships, and ensure the company achieves its sales and margin targets.

WHAT YOULL DO
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee and manage Aero Tradings domestic and international sales operations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies in collaboration with company executives.
- Ensure pricing, costing, and inventory management align with profitability goals.
Account Management & Customer Relationships
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction.
- Work closely with managers in Vancouver and northern locations to drive strategic sales initiatives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs to capitalize on market opportunities.
Team & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the team while fostering a high-performing sales culture.
- Collaborate with production, fleet, shipping and receiving, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide accurate sales metrics and reporting to company leadership.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial seafood industry in both domestic and global sales, with a deep understanding of Wild BC fisheries.
- Strong sales leadership skills with a track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
- A hands-on, team-oriented approach with the ability to step in and support various aspects of the business when needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for building connections.
- Dependable, professional, and able to take direction while working independently.
- Efficient, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Computer proficiency, including Excel and sales/receiving systems.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge of international seafood markets and regulations.
