This individual will work directly with Zirnhelt Timber Frame team and clients to construct timber frame homes and other structures from start to finish, including:

• Materials procurement (including sourcing and integrating green building products)
• Close coordination with team members both in the shop and at building sites
• Construct prefabricated roof and wall systems
• Take part in frame raising and other construction activities as needed
• Work with other designs/designers and engineers to incorporate heavy timber construction

Essential qualifications:

• Experience in prefabrication
• Experience in timber design and green building products
• Minimum 5 years experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and database programs

Assets:

• Formal carpentry training and on the job construction or construction management experience
