Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing campaigns for the Resort to attract potential guests and retain existing ones. The Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator works closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy that enhances the Resort's brand image and drives revenue growth.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute key marketing campaigns for all business segments (leisure, group, tour, wedding, wellness, food & beverage, spa)
- Prepare campaign re-cap reports showing performance, ROI and learnings
- Create, review, assess and present monthly digital analytics reports along with insights and recommendations
- Strategically prepare and execute media buys for digital and print, working with key partners and suppliers
- Manage Eldorado Resort property websites (Hotel Eldorado, Manteo, Eldorado Yacht Club) along with Restaurant websites utilizing SEO and best practices
- Design ad creative for campaigns (print and digital)
- Create and oversee all hotel and corporate email marketing
- Responsible for all guest facing signage (elevator posters, guestroom TV's, weekly and seasonal resort guides, pre-arrival communications, digital displays, welcome booklets, etc.) – including design, coordination and printing
- Create copy for websites, digital advertising, print advertising and in-house collateral
- Produce and apply content posting to social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube)
- Participate in resort events, festivals and seasonal activities to maximize social media and content generation opportunities
- Assist/support the HR Team's marketing efforts for recruitment including content creation, social channel management, and assistance with monthly reporting (similar to guest marketing efforts)
- Work with operational departments to plan offsite events such as trade show booths, community activation events and larger city-wide sponsored marketing.

To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 3 years marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, particularly in digital marketing and social media
- Ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns that capture the target audience's attention
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities and market conditions
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all marketing activities
- Strong understanding of google analytics, and the continuously changing best practices of online marketing
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CapCut, and TravelClick is an asset
