Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping, etc.).
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
- Unload and store food supplies and ingredients.
- Dispose of garbage and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Help with plating and serving as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff or supervisors.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Must be available evenings, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Exposure to heat, steam, and kitchen equipment.
- Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
