Key Responsibilities
User Research Discovery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand user personas, business goals, and loyalty program workflows.
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and competitive analysis of the current loyalty interfaces.
    Unified Design System Creation
  • Develop and document a scalable, reusable design system that supports unified branding guidelines for the merged loyalty program.
  • Establish design tokens, typography, iconography, color palettes, and component libraries.

Wireframing Prototyping

  • Create wireframes, journey maps, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Translate business requirements and legacy flows into elegant, responsive UI solutions.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with frontend developers, technical analysts, and solution architects to ensure design feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure visual alignment with corporate identity.


Accessibility Usability Standards

  • Ensure all UI designs are WCAG-compliant and follow best practices in accessibility and responsive design.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on design based on feedback and analytics.

Design QA Handoff

  • Perform UI/UX reviews during development sprints to validate alignment with design specifications.
  • Deliver annotated design files, redlines, and design documentation to development teams.

Skills and Qualifications
Experience

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience for complex, user-facing digital platforms, preferably in travel, e-commerce, or loyalty domains.
  • Experience designing for both legacy modernization and new digital platform builds.

Technical Tools Proficiency

  • Expert in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive front-end frameworks is a plus (for better dev collaboration).
  • Exposure to design handoff tools like Zeplin or Figma Dev Mode.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Able to balance creative vision with user-centered design principles and technical constraints.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global design teams and Agile development environments.
  • Awareness of loyalty program engagement principles and user behavior patterns.
  • Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) design implications.
