- Identify and mitigate security threats to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company data.

- Schedule and coordinate security audits, penetration tests, and coordinate relevant departments and third-party contractors.

- Stay current on security risks, emerging threats, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with system administrators to apply patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement security policies, standards and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.
- Qualify, sequence, and lead changes recommended through different security assessments.
- Manage and maintain IT incident response plans.
- Collect and analyze threat intelligence data to proactively identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and conduct security awareness programs and training sessions for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Assess and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Continuously review and update security policies and procedures to ensure they align with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a security breach or other disruptive incidents.
- Create and maintain security metrics and reports to provide insights into the organization's security posture and the effectiveness of security measures.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security frameworks.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
