Our high profile retail client with National operations has created a new position to work as the right hand to the National Payroll Manager. They are looking for an experienced Payroll professional who can oversee the demands of a complex corporate office including and assisting in the management of a payroll team.
The responsibilities of the Assistant Payroll Manager is as follows but not limited to:
- Effectively oversee the day-to-day payroll demands of a complex Corporate office environment, coordinating payrolls across multi provinces in Canada
- Ensure all Corporate employees are paid timely and accurately on a biweekly basis
- Maintain ADP payroll databases for Canada including new employee set up and updating all employee changes
- Work with HR to ensure all new hires and terminations are processed on time and correctly
- Prepare, review and submit ROE's to ensure all information is correct
- Lead, mentor and support a busy team of payroll administrators, demonstrating strong team building and motivational skills
TMGNY
- PCP or CPM designation preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of full cycle payroll processing experience, 3+ years of which is in payroll management
- Demonstrated knowledge of current payroll tax laws in multiple provinces
- Strong knowledge of ADP , Kronos and Workforce Now ( WFN ) preferred
