NOTE
Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Onsite "; however, the Assignment under this request will provisionally be "Hybrid , working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Manager's requirements for the Project you are assigned to.
Must Have:
- At least 6 years of experience with process design, business analysis and project management of applications/systems
Evaluation Criteria
Criteria 1: Project Management Skills - 45 Points
- 8+ years' experience in business analysis and project management (combined)
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams (e.g. UX designer, web developer, contact center staff) to deploy public-facing content for support, Open Data
- Experience operating in an agile and product-based methodology to iterate on deployments rapidly
- Successful resolution skills to resolve issues with stakeholders and address risks and benefits of specific solutions and recommend specific courses of action
- Liaison as the technical and business advisor/expert on all aspects of project deliverables
- Strategic ability to identify optimal solutions to meet client needs and provide submissions to facilitate senior level decision-making
- Proven success in creating and maintaining a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan.
- Knowledge of appropriate strategies related to change management, during all stages of projects concept, definition, planning, implementation and close-out
- Experience in managing the implementation activities associated with large projects in an I&IT environment
Criteria 2: Business Analysis and Technical Skills - 40 Points
- Knowledge of BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) certification and/or demonstrated knowledge with the key BABOK concepts, tasks, techniques and skills; knowledge of LEAN principles and applying LEAN to processes
- Demonstrated experience in creating Business Cases, Business Requirements Document, other Business requirements artefacts and testing documentation
- Documentation skills for business requirements and validate with business clients
- Ability to design and create technical specifications of the reports and validate with stake holders
- Working experience in defining and validating test cases to ensure the requirements are met
- Demonstrated experienced in unit testing, system testing and acceptance testing
- Demonstrated experience in solution design and architecture
- Hands on experience in various project and product delivery methodologies such as:
- Agile
- Waterfall
- Iterative Agile
- Product management
Criteria 3: Communication Skills - 10 Points
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, Interpersonal and consultative skills, Facilitation skills
- Experience crafting executive-level presentation to brief leadership
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on functional design issues and detailed solution design sessions, negotiating on issues for production

- Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks
