We are currently looking for a highly motivated dispatcher with home base being Lloydminster, AB. This company has a solid reputation and a strong community presence that takes pride in their employees. This position will start as soon the right candidate is identified.

BENEFITS:

 10 days on 4 days off work schedule with 10-hour days – on call during working days on

 $80 - $100 K/year pending experience

 2 weeks' vacation

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Dispatch picker operators, highway haulers and delivery drivers

 Prepare field tickets for invoicing

 On call while on shift

 Act as a liaison between customers, drivers and operations communicating instructions, permits and all other applicable information

 Manage hours of services for drivers

 Book permits as required

 Assist in preparing bids/flat rates for specific jobs

 Search for loads to match any empty

QUALIFICATIONS

 Able to work in Canada

 Working knowledge of all applicable regulations governing transportation across various provinces (not limited to Hours of Service, Weights and Dimensions)

 Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all customers, employees, vendors, and management

 Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills

 Strong computer skills

 Demonstrate time management and priority setting skills

 Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment

 Must be highly organized and able to multitask

 Must be accustomed to busy phones

 Ability to adjust priorities on short notice

 Ability to work independently and as a team player

 Previous dispatch experience is necessary

 Pipeyard experience

 Electronic Logging Devices Experience is an asset but not required

 Picker operator/highway hauling experience is an asset but not required
