JOB PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Manager, Catalogs & Digital Assets, the Data Collection co-op, is responsible for accurately extracting and inputting auto part dimensions from PDF part drawings into a database. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to work with technical documents.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extract auto part dimensions and other relevant data from PDF part drawings.
• Accurately enter data into an organized spreadsheet, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify key measurements and part details.
• Maintain consistent and accurate records of all data entered and verify the accuracy of entered data and perform quality checks to ensure there are no discrepancies.
• Communicate with team members to clarify any uncertainties regarding part dimensions or specifications.
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Post-secondary education or equivalent related experience is considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Familiarity with other data entry software tools or systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with auto parts or mechanical components is considered a strong asset
