As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and replace various electrical and automation components, support production during runtime, and perform preventative, corrective, and facility maintenance using the asset management system. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet operational demands.Primary Responsibilities:
- Read manuals and blueprints to complete installations, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs; assemble equipment using hand and power tools.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, control logic, photo eyes, pneumatic systems, and automation field devices.
- Perform general electrical maintenance (120–600V), adjusting equipment and replacing defective components as needed.
- Use tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imagers to diagnose and calibrate electrical systems.
- Inspect equipment for irregularities, complete work orders based on PM/CM schedules, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety protocols including LOTO, maintain a clean work area, and ensure compliance with food safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Red Seal or nationally accredited Electrical Trade certification required, with at least 3 years' experience in high-speed manufacturing
- Strong industrial electrical systems background with proven use of multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imaging equipment.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook; mechanical or advanced PLC knowledge is an asset.
