The Urban Water Truck Operator performs a variety of tasks while working outside in variable conditions. The job scope is approximately 60% labour and 40% operator related tasks. Previous experience hauling liquid loads would be considered an asset. This position requires a minimum Class 3 license

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain tandem water truck, including loading and unloading
• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, and occupational health & safety
• Maintain daily logs as required, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork
• Load, unload and move construction materials around worksite as required
• Occasional operation of some heavy equipment (rollers, skid steers etc.)
• Comply with safe working procedures and practices
• Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November)
• Other duties as required
