NutriChem is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to excel in delivering exceptional customer service, supporting retail sales, fulfilling orders, and maintaining the overall appearance of the pharmacy retail store.
In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, youll need to be highly experienced with this entire stack:
- Customer Experience and Service:
- Friendly Service: Greet every customer coming in from the front store and the clinic. Deliver warm, professional, and efficient service to every client, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Product and Services Knowledge: Address client inquiries with expertise, providing tailored product recommendations and information about NutriChems services, including clinic and pharmacy options.
- Issue Resolution: Handle client concerns with care, escalating issues to the Retail Manager as needed to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Loyalty Program Enrollment: Ensure every customer is enrolled in the NutriChem Loyalty Program, clearly explaining the benefits and making sure they receive promotional emails and updates.
- Retail Sales:
- Assistance: Help clients locate and purchase products, enhancing their overall shopping experience.
- Sales Promotion: Actively promote special promotions and deals to boost sales and engage customers.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system to ensure smooth transactions.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Order Management: Process and fulfill t orders, including over-the-counter and prescription items, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with the pharmacy and shipping teams to ensure orders are ready for pick-up or delivery.
- Merchandising
- Product Display: Assist in arranging and displaying products on shelves to maximize visibility and drive sales.
- Shelf Maintenance: Regularly check and restock shelves, ensuring all products are properly labeled and priced.
- Promotion Implementation: Implement in-store promotions, ensuring signage is accurate and prominently displayed.
- Maintenance of Space
- Clean and Organized Environment: Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming space for clients, ensuring accessibility throughout the store.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, particularly regarding the handling of pharmaceutical products.
- Cash Reconciliation:
- Transaction Management: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions at the register, ensuring precision in all dealings.
- Cash Drawer Balance: Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, promptly reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Procedure Adherence: Follow established procedures for cash handling, refunds, and returns to maintain operational integrity.
- Feedback and Suggestions:
- Product Insights: Offer constructive feedback and insights to the retail sales team regarding products, product lines, and emerging health trends.
- Market Observations: Share observations on customer preferences and behaviors to inform product selection and inventory decisions.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in discussions with the team to refine offerings and enhance the overall customer experience based on market feedback.

To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a health and wellness setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
