Job Overview

Were seeking a motivated Wastewater Service Technician to join our team at our Brantford Head Office. This entry-level role is perfect for hands-on individuals eager to learn a trade while driving extensively across the Golden Horseshoe region. Youll work alongside Senior Technicians and Inspectors, gaining on-the-job training as you perform industrial sewer sampling, due diligence inspections for real estate transactions, maintenance, diagnostics, compliance sampling, and client sales. Confidence in all-season driving and working conditions is a must for this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industrial sewer sampling for compliance and environmental monitoring.
  • Perform due diligence inspections of wastewater systems for real estate transactions.
  • Carry out maintenance and diagnostics to ensure system performance.
  • Collect compliance samples for regulatory reporting, adhering to provincial standards.
  • Engage with clients to explain services, recommend solutions, and support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with Senior Technicians and Inspectors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

What Were Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade or environmental training is a bonus but not required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ease with tools (e.g., plumbing, diagnostics).
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Valid G drivers license with a clean record (required for service vehicle use).
  • Confidence driving and working in all Ontario weather conditionsfrom summer heat to winter snowstorms.
  • Willingness to drive extensively: Frequent travel across the Golden Horseshoe (e.g., Hamilton, Niagara, GTA) for job sites.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with physical stamina for fieldwork.
