Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Compliance Data Analyst to support our compliance operations, with a primary focus on accurate and timely data entry and reporting for regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in compliance, offering hands-on experience and mentorship from a senior compliance leader. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our adherence to FINTRAC, iGaming Ontario (iGO), and Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations.

Key Outcomes of the Position

Casino Disbursement Report (CDR) for FINTRAC:

o Accurate and timely data entry for all required information related to casino disbursements.

o Ensure compliance with FINTRAC reporting requirements.

o Maintain meticulous records and documentation.

Daily Transaction Report for iGaming Ontario (iGO):

o Collect, compile, and input daily transaction data for iGO reporting.

o Verify data accuracy and completeness.

o Generate and submit reports according to iGO guidelines.

AGCO Compliance Support:

o Assist with various data-related tasks as required by the AGCO.

o Support the Compliance team in gathering and analyzing compliance data.

o Assist in the preparation of compliance documentation.

Data Integrity and Accuracy:

o Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.

o Identify and resolve data discrepancies.

o Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain detailed records of all data entries and reporting activities.

o Assist in the development and improvement of data management processes.

Mentorship and Development:

o Receive mentorship and guidance from a senior compliance leader.

o Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance compliance knowledge.

o Learn the gaming compliance landscape.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and commitment to compliance.

Interest in learning about compliance, and the gaming industry

Strong analytical abilities.

Self-starter with ability to work independently

Excellent Communication Skills, written and verbal.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Ability to work 20 hours per week.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles.

Awareness of FINTRAC, iGO, or AGCO regulations (willingness to learn is essential).

Experience with databases.

Education and Certifications

Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Compliance from an accredited four-year college or university.

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
